i'm not entirely sure that i get it but its a haze of semi-fun violence
i'm not sure i quite get the story, even after two plays and a scan of the wiki. feels like it's trying to do a message similar to spec ops of "ooh aren't you a bad person for murdering all these people" without nearly as much of the context or strength of such a message. the music was getting on my tits by the finish, too. some songs are great! others make me want to floss with live wire, and actively sound like i'm already doing so. the game itself is an adequately entertaining arcade-y shooter much in the vain of a s.m.a.s.h. tv or something of the ilk. fast, frenetic and fun. far from my first choice for a fun time, but it'll do if i've got nothing else.

so funny story about this. i would have never even thought to play this game if i hadn't have seen marshsmt tweeting about replaying this game on his psvita via some flavor of homebrew. he told me about the game very scantly in a reply, as i asked him what the best way to play was. my accidental scrape of elbows with a niche internet microcelebrity will stay with me forever
