the best deckbuilder with incredible plot to boot. also one of the first games i played for my wife i love you honey <3
this game is genuinely one of the coolest i’ve ever played. the mechanics are rich, each act building off of one another, references to each other hidden throughout for the keen-eyed individual to spot (or the me-eyed individual to watch in a youtube video), some of the most interesting ideas based off of the classic "the game is alive" quandary... and perhaps most critically, just a really bloody good card game. everything about it just feels so... satisfying, i suppose is the way to put it. the way everything just falls into place. the interwoven story. the feeling of a great play. just everything about it is... it’s so good. all that without mentioning the ARG surrounding this game that is deeply intriguing, just as with mullins' other works before this.
