just when i thought we couldn't go much lower

genuinely godawful both as a piece of sonic media and as just a standalone series.
episode 4 is kind of fucking insane, especially because of its implications on greater sonic movie lore, just the idea of iblis not only existing in this universe but knuckles beating the shit out of him and that being how he has his own powers in this universe is kind of, pardon the pun, fire.
everything outside of that is a wash. i dont give a fuck about wade whipple and his magical bowling arc. much like the games before them, humans have little, if not no place in sonic films and tv series. the shoestring budget shows in the worst places in the worst ways and overall it is just a true slog to get to anything interesting in this show. mostly because there are, like, two interesting parts. period. across the whole series.
