sonic pocket adventure - 6/10
if snk had sonic on their console why hasn't he appeared in king of fighters thatd be fire. oh uh the game's good yeah
a nice little bridge between the classic and adventure era, featuring a new take on the levels of sonic 2, with guest appearances by scrap brain from sonic 1 and doomsday from sonic 3, oddly all accompanied by sonic 3 music, and the result? yeah, its pretty alright! i would happily call this competent, if a bit short even for my tastes, and aero base, this game's wing fortress, kinda sucks with the screen crunch due to there being an abundance of leaps of faith. this is just a cute little game! if only i could have played this with the properly clicky little joystick on the pocket color man thatd have shredded haha. i reallyyy liked chaotic space zone for just being a cute pocket-sized version of doomsday from sonic 3, it was really adorable! nothing essential or anything, but id recommend it if you want a little stopgap game between your playing of the classic quadrilogy and the adventure games. happy 26th anniversary
