i don't know if i took that the way that they meant me to
genuinely fucking crazy irreverent comedy. it is not intended to be read as that i don’t believe. this single-handedly convinces me that death of the author as a concept can allow you to see and enjoy a piece of media in a wholly different light than is intended originally and how such a lens can breathe new life into a film or piece of media that may have otherwise been lost to the sands of time. getting the read on it as a comedy, it is such a fucking crazy ride that had me and a roomful of friends constantly second guessing every last beat. dumb ass movie but damn if it wasn’t fun.
